Construction and Demolition or Construction, Demolition and Environmental management plans are increasingly being seen on planning conditions, especially within the capital and surrounding boroughs. At WDE we are frequently asked to support our clients by preparing CDMPs, which we have done since the company first started trading.
The idea of the plans is to ensure that each aspect of the construction program has been thoroughly thought out and planned, particularly focusing on the impacts of construction on neighbouring populations. Each CDMP is tailor written for the site in question with the type of works planned and site setting taken into account.
Typically a CDMP will include, but not be limited to, sections on:
- Protection of Human Health & Groundwater
- Noise & Vibration
- Air Quality
- Waste Management
- Prevention of Pollution
- Community Relations
If you would like further advice and guidance on CDMPs and associated planning conditions don’t hesitate to contact WDE Consulting.
